About
Kalgidhar Gurmat Academy’s mission is to educate and instill Sikhi in the upcoming youth of Edmonton. The academy’s goal is to create an inclusive, safe, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment where students can grow in their Sikhi. Sevadars of the academy can relate to the younger generation and help them navigate their Sikh in western society. With Guru Ji’s kirpa, we hope to foster the love and faith of Sikhi in the youth.

Our sevadaars have been organizing youth camps and events since 2016. After receiving immense support from parents and the sangat, Kalgidhar Gurmat Academy was created in 2022 to foster a sense of belonging and instill strong values in the future of tomorrow: our children.
